Mark Zuckerberg Facts : Facebook CEO

Facts of Mark Zuckerberg
Facts of Mark Zuckerberg

He is my most favourite person. I am a really BIG FAN of him. He has inspired me in many ways. One of the inspirations he gave me was to create this Blog. He seems extremely young to become billionaire, after all he co-founded Facebook when he was a teenager. Here are some of his facts.

  1. He suffers from red-green colourblindness and so he can see the blue colour best, which is why Facebook's color scheme is dominated blue.
  2. He wears the same gray Facebook T-shirt almost everyday cause he is busy and it saves his time in morning.
  3. In 2009 he said he wore a tie for the entire year as to show that Facebook was serious about growing and important.
  4. In 2011, Mark turned vegetarian and said he would only eat meat if he killed the animals himself. But among his "Likes" on his Facebook page are McDonald and In-N-Out Burger.
  5. He says he's not that Interested in money. This is well-known fact, but one that continues to surprise. In several interviews and goals statements, Mark has made it clear that making his money is not his first aim - connect the world is. (That's why I love him!)
  6. Mark is also on Twitter as @finkd where he has over  more than 293,478 Twitter followers despite he has only tweeted 19 times in four years, and only once in 15 months.
  7. In October 2010, Zukerberg took a bunch of Facebook staffers to a public theatre to see "The Social Network" (which I also have see many times), the movie about life of Mark when he founded Facebook.
  8. Mark's first car was a Subaru Forester SUV.
  9. Mark learned Chinese in 2010 to be able to communicate with his girlfriend Priscilla Chan's family member.
  10. He was the only one to designed his wife Priscilla Chan's wedding ring, which is a ruby flanked on either side by diamonds. A ruby wedding ring that jewellers valued at about $25,000 even though he was worth about $19 billion at the time.
  11. He owns a Hungarian sheepdog named Beast, he really loves his dog. What surprising is his dog has a Facebook page with 1.5 million fans.
  12.  Just type @[4:0] in a Facebook comment and hit enter, his name will appear.
  13. AOL and Microsoft tried to recruit him when he was in high school after he created Synapse, a program that used artificial intelligence to learn users music-listening habits.
  14. He once built a program when he was 13 for his dad, Edward, who needed a quick messaging system for his dental office, and for family home. It, was essentially, an early version of AOL's Instant Messenger.
  15. He also created a few computer games. Once, he developed a computer version of the game Monopoly based on his middle school and a version of the game Risk based on the Roman Empire.
  16. The domain name Facemash.com, the predecessor to Facebook that Zukerberg built in 2003, was sold in 2010 for $30,201.
  17. Mark's interest in programming developed when his parents gifted him the book C++ for Dummies.
  18. Mark's interest in computer programming was quiet visible at the very early age.
